Community Rules

Last updated: September 19, 2026 · IKON Community™

IKON Community™ is a professional space for Practitioners to connect, learn, and grow together. These rules apply everywhere on the Platform — Connect posts and comments, direct messages, Groups, and IKON Challenge.

1. Be Respectful

  • Treat every Practitioner with the same respect you'd expect in a professional setting
  • Disagreement is fine — harassment, personal attacks, and hate speech are not
  • This applies equally to public posts and private direct messages

2. Content Boundaries

The following are never permitted anywhere on the Platform, including in direct messages:

  • Hate speech, slurs, or content targeting someone's identity
  • Harassment, threats, or content encouraging self-harm
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Spam, scams, or repeated unwanted messaging

All content, including direct messages, passes through an automated content filter. Flagged content is held from view and may be reviewed by an Administrator.

3. Respect Others' Privacy

  • Don't share another Practitioner's personal information without their consent
  • Keep direct message conversations between you and the recipient — don't screenshot and share private conversations without consent

4. Fair Play in IKON Challenge

  • Play games (Scramble, Trivia) honestly — don't use external tools or automation to gain an unfair advantage
  • Duel invites and leaderboard standings should reflect genuine play

5. Groups

  • Follow the same respect and content standards inside Groups as anywhere else on the Platform
  • Group membership and activity may be moderated by Administrators

6. What Happens If You Break These Rules

Depending on severity, violations may result in:

  1. A warning notification, for a first minor offense
  2. Content removal
  3. Temporary or permanent account suspension, for repeated or serious violations

7. Reporting a Problem

If you see content that violates these rules, or receive a message that concerns you, please contact info@ikon.ac.
